“…a certain tract or parcel of land [in Craven County] on the North side of Neuse River and South side of Swifts Creek and South side of the Bay Bush Pocosin adjoining said pocosin which is part of a tract of land patented by William Smith patent bearing date of 13th day of January 1773, bounded as follows… pine on side of the Baybush William Smith’s beginning corner and run with said Smith’s first line… to a stake near Currers? corner then North…. to a stake in said Smith’s line… to the Baybush pocosin… containing [100 acres]…”
