“… Two certain messuages or tenements of land in [Craven County] on the North Side of Neuse River and on the upper side of Dawson’s Creek containing in the whole one Hundred and fifteen acres of land and bounded as follows, viz: [25 acres] westernmost part of Richd Graves old Patent beginning at Thomas Heddys corner on the side of Dawson’s Creek running with his line … to James Roberts Corner his New Pattent then with the said New Pattent line So 60 Et to the Gutt whereon James Roberts formerly lived which divides this land from the land sold to Christopher Neale then down the several courses of the said Gutt to the main Creek and up the several courses of the creek to the beginning; the other [90 acres] being the western most part of the Jas. Roberts new patent whereon he formerly lived beginning at the Gutt which divid’s this land from the land sold to Christopher Neale, where Richd Graves old pattent line crosses then runing with the line of the above mentioned [25 acres] … to Headdy’s line then with Headdy’s line South… to a pine then to a litewood tree Randolph Fishers Corner, then No 65 Et 84 pole & from thence along said Fisher’s line to the easternmost branch of the aforementioned gutt which divides this land fro the land sold to Christopher Neale then down the several courses of the Sd Branch binding on the land sold Christopher Neal to the beginning containing in the whole [115 acres] more or less…”
