“… sixty acres of land lying and being in the County of Craven… on the Norht Side of Trent River beginning at a lightwood stake John Franck’s corner on the North Side of little Chincapin and runs with his line… to John Lavinders Corner … to a pine in another survey of said Franck’s then along his line… granted by patent from his Excellency William Tryon Governor to Benjamin Stanaland [9 April 1770]…”
