One shilling + $1,175, lot in Newbern (New Bern)
“…a certain piece or parcel of land [in New Bern] being part of the lot of ground knowin in the plan of the said Town as lot No. 81 … bounded as follows… beginning on Middle Street at the north east corner of lot No. 78 running thence northwardly along the eastern line of said lot No. 81 forty feet thence westwardly parallel with the northern line of lot No. 79 two hundred and fourteen feet six inches to the eastern line of lot No. 82 thence southwardly along the Eastern line of lot No. 82 to the northern corner of lot No. 79 thence to the beginning.”
