“…on the South Side of Bay River and on the Branches Tillmans Cabbin and Procters Creeks Beginning in middle of the Front Line between the gum and the post in the ditch next to Martin McCoters from thence to the Bay then So 75 Et 48 pole to the same Sd Post in the ditch then up the Branch So 15 Et 120 pole and from thence with the courses of the said Morris’s deed, as far as will fetch home to first station [50 acres], part of a patented grant to said Carruthers for six hundred and forty acres bearing date [15 November 1762] …”
