“… two certain plantations or parcels of land lying on the South Side of Neuse River in Craven County… one certain plantation [80 acres] also one other plantation on the South Side of Neuse River [127 acres]… the first of which said tracts being part of a tract patented in the name of George Stringer the other tract being part of a tract patented in the name of Robert Taylor and Ebenezer Slade both of which said tracts hereby given and granted lies joining each other on the lower side of Core Creek the former Beginning at a white oak Samuel Slade’s corner on the south side of said Branch and to include all the land mentioned in the before ?? surveyes on the lower side of Core Creek and the lower side of Great Branch commonly called Nunns Branch and joining the patented lines of Thomas Spriggs…”
