“…a certain piece or parcel of land on the south side of Dawsons Creek in Craven County containing [50 acres] being part of a tract of [140 acres] formerly the property of Joseph Crispin dec’d and sold after his death to Thomas Morris dec’d the father of the said Moses Morris who fell heir of the same, the above granted fifty acres to be laid off as follows beginning at Atherly’s line and running down the said Dawsons Creek so far as to have an equal shar of the front on said Creek and to attend back as to contain [50 acres] as aforesaid…”
