“…[a] tract of land [in Craven County] beginning on Abraham Bussetts line on the North side of Crooked Run…being the Devision agreed on formerly by betwiset the above said Philemon Morris and Gabriel Pickren and Now approved by James MacDaniel and from the affsd. Gumb running north twenty Wt to the first station containing three hundred and twenty acres of land … being the lower part of a Pattent …dated [24 November 1738] and convey’d said lands to Peter Debress and from him to William Williams … from him to Philemon Morris…”
